Have you read Because the Night?

FROM GOODREADS: Immortal Dilemma is the hottest band in the Las Vegas vampire rock scene. They draw insatiable fans from around the globe, thanks to a supernatural attraction called Bloodlust. Tristan craved such an opportunity to fill his empty mortal life, and now he has eternity to earn his place along the legends of rock n roll debauchery.

Callie always feared that Tristan’s excesses would get him into trouble, but she never thought they’d lead him to immortality. To reconnect with him, she must weave her way through a world  not only she had no idea existed, but does not welcome her.

Blade turned down a spot in Immortal Dilemma after learning what he must sacrifice for that lifestyle.  He finds Callie a refreshing change from the girls in the vampire rock scene.   When Callie drags Blade back into the world of Immortal Dilemma, his resistance drives her into the waiting arms of Tristan, who shows her the true meaning of Bloodlust.

But the very things that Callie fights so hard to save are the very things that fight to destroy her.

Vampire rock stars in Las Vegas? Yes please! Here’s what’s different about Because the Night– Immortal Dilemma is a rock band that is on a reality show. They party hard, they have an endless stream of willing girls, and it’s more than Callie can stand to watch. This is her Tristan after all. Some believe they are really vampires, others (Like our girl, Callie) do not. After all, Tristan was never perfect and partied… but a vampire?

Yes, Callie, he’s a vampire. Those fangs are real. Well, crap.

It’s all new to Callie… It’s scary… It’s everything she doesn’t want for herself or Tristan… It’s also hot as hell.

This book takes “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” to a new level. IN VEGAS, everyone accepts that vampires are real. Not only that– but there are half-breeds of sorts who drink vampire blood. Depending on who that vampire is determines what kind of vampire powers you’ll have. It’s a very interesting and cool twist.

Anyway, I loved this book for so many different reasons. One: I started out hating on Tristan. Even though I was into all his rock star–staring Callie down while he played on stage–oh, god his shirt is open–confessions while still being cocky–fast moving–jealous Tristan= happy Gabi–….. hold up. I may not have hated on him. 😉 But, I did end up loving him.
